As we expand our product portfolio, we’re seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in Node.js and a solid understanding of backend fundamentals. Join our France-based team and play a key role in building the frontend for our marketplace cloud service for security solutions and product certification. This is a full-time position with flexibility for on-site, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.

Job Description

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll be a vital member of our agile, cross-functional team, reporting to the Engineering Lead. You’ll develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for our desktop application, following design and technical guidelines. Backend knowledge is a plus, helping you collaborate more effectively with our full-stack team and contributing to an integrated development process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications optimized for both performance and usability across platforms.
2. Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences.
3. Engage with an agile, innovative team environment that values collaboration and continuous learning.

Preferred Experience

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Frontend Expertise: Proven experience in frontend development, ideally within cloud-based projects.
3. Technical Skills:
1. Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, HTML/CSS, responsive design, and component-based architecture.
2. Experience with SPAs, PWAs, version control with Git, and testing frameworks like Jest.
3. Familiarity with backend fundamentals in Node.js and API interactions is a strong advantage.
4. Exposure to tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (S3, SES, etc.), and ORMs (Sequelize) is beneficial.
4. Cybersecurity Knowledge: Basic understanding of security best practices in frontend and web applications.
