Senior Quant Researcher

Our client is a cutting-edge trading firm that merges advanced research with resilient infrastructure to optimize digital asset markets. Their team is composed of leading researchers in algorithmic trading, and they are actively seeking a Quantitative Researcher to enhance their trading research efforts. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to algorithmic market-making strategies in crypto markets and play a key role in structuring the firm's quant function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and refine predictive trading strategies to enhance market efficiency and profitability.
2. Conduct in-depth research on pricing models and execution optimization.
3. Develop and back test strategies using historical and real-time data.
4. Collaborate with engineers to deploy strategies into production and enhance the trading infrastructure.
5. Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve model performance in live trading environments.
6. Help structure the quantitative research function, ensuring a robust and scalable approach.

Key Requirements:

1. Strong quantitative background (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field).
2. Proficiency in C++/Rust for data analysis, back testing, and implementing models.
3. Experience in market-making strategies, high-frequency trading (HFT), or statistical arbitrage.
4. Solid understanding of probability theory, time-series analysis, and optimization techniques.
5. Deep knowledge of market microstructure and algorithmic trading concepts.
6. Ability to work with large datasets and develop/test hypotheses rigorously.
