Your mission & key responsibilities
Your role is to design, implement, and optimize our platform's reliability, observability, and scalability while driving automation to reduce toil and improve developer experience.
- Ensure high availability (99.99%) and prevent service disruption
- Optimize cloud costs & FinOps strategies (AWS, GCP, Spot Instances)
- Implement security best practices and compliance policies
About You
You have 8+ years of experience in roles relevant to this position, with a strong track record of building, operating, and scaling reliable infrastructure.
- Scalable & resilient architectures - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and fault-tolerant systems
- Cloud & platform expertise - Deep knowledge of AWS with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipeline management (GCP experience is a plus)
- Cybersecurity best practices - Strong understanding of security principles, IAM, RBAC, and network security
- Development skills - Proficiency in Python (Go or Rust as a plus)
- Observability & monitoring - Experience with Prometheus / Grafana (OpenTelemetry as a plus)
- DevOps mindset - Strong focus on developer experience (DX) and automation to improve efficiency and reduce toil. Pragmatic, non-dogmatic, and egoless approach, able to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills - Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in technical English
