Senior Marketing Manager France & AME - CDI - Kantar Worldpanel

We are looking for a talented Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing and help us accelerate Kantar Worldpanel’s position in France and AME. This is a wide-ranging B2B marketing role with ultimate responsibility for developing and executing the strategy across the full marketing mix (internal and external comms, campaigns, content marketing, website, social media, events, etc) in alignment with local business priorities.

You will work to strengthen the capabilities and impact of marketing across France and the wider region, including providing support to AME. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Europe, you will lead, coach and develop a team of three with the aim of raising the bar on marketing’s impact. You will work closely with local commercial teams, the Strategic Communications Director, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with commercial and business objectives as well as with the regional COEs to embed best practice, processes and approaches. You will operate as a trusted advisor, expertly guiding the local business on all aspects of brand, product marketing and communications strategy.

This role will focus on initiatives that make a tangible impact on enhancing brand awareness and visibility in the market, driving client acquisition and retention, and strengthening the internal engagement and expertise across the business.

Role Description

  • Implement the marketing strategy for France and AME, accounting for local business priorities and growth objectives, in collaboration with sales, analytics, product and other stakeholders.
  • Translate global and regional marketing initiatives into in-market activations that best meet local needs and drive intended KPIs, leveraging the best practice in place while helping to build up Kantar’s visibility collectively across SE.
  • Actively build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the local businesses, including the Strategic Communications Director in France, as well as with marketing peers from other countries and COE colleagues.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the commercial teams and the marketing organisation, developing a deep understanding of local client needs, leveraging client survey results and verbatims, as well as the sales teams’ local knowledge and experience.
  • Create and implement local demand generation campaigns to drive leads for the commercial teams, working with the sales teams, agencies and leveraging existing best practice and learnings.
  • Create and execute the roll out of product marketing campaigns and new product launches, designed to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Track campaign performance, analyse data and metrics and provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimisation alongside ROI reporting.
  • Analyse, measure and optimize all stages of the marketing funnel across web, email, social, search, paid campaigns etc.
  • Build, test and optimize paid campaigns across channels, including digital, social media, paid search, etc.
  • Lead competitive intel, conducting market research and competitor analysis and collaborating with commercial and product teams to ensure relevant and timely releases to the business, leveraging existing best practice and processes.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral and sales enablement materials to support the needs of the commercial teams that clearly communicate our USPs, ensuring alignment with the brand's tone and positioning.
  • Support commercial teams with any additional content needs to promote our products and services such as articles, videos, web copy, case studies and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure that all client-facing materials such as presentations, RFPs, etc., are on brand and consistent across the market.
  • Execute the roll out of regional thought leadership pieces, tailoring and translating content to meet local needs, and activating through all relevant channels, in collaboration with the Strategic Communications Director in France and the Content & Events COE.
  • Lead and manage the development and execution of locally owned client events, including event logistics, invite management, promotions, follow ups, working in partnership with the Strategic Communications Director in France, who will develop content in partnership with relevant stakeholders and lead on commercial follow ups.
  • Support the Strategic Communications Director, with the promotion of Worldpanel speaking engagements at all third-party events in France and with other stakeholders for AME.
  • With support from the Media COE and media agency, execute local GMS releases, manage the day-to-day local media partnerships and requests and serve as a primary contact for the media agency with the aim of enhancing our media coverage and impact. In France, this will include working closely with the Strategic Communications Director who serves as Worldpanel’s key spokesperson with the media and partnerships with them.
  • Manage and oversee the local internal communications programme, including business updates, internal newsletters, intranet and internal social media channel, as well as supporting the local leadership teams with town halls and communications sessions, leveraging existing programmes in place and best practice from the Comms COE.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimisation of website and social media channels, ensuring relevant, timely and engaging content.
  • With support from the Content & Events COE, establish a local podcast series and manage the programming, logistics, promotions and reporting, working in partnership with the Strategic Communications Director who will lead on content and coordination of stakeholders/guest speakers designed to highlight expertise and products/services aligned to business priorities.
  • Manage the marketing budget and plans with regular monthly ROI reporting on all marketing activities.

The role is hybrid with 2 days at the office per week. We are currently based in Chambourcy(78) but the offices will be moving to Le Défense this year.

Role Requirements & Capabilities

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an international scope and environment.
  • Solid understanding of buyer personas, demand generation and the B2B marketing funnel.
  • Previous marketing automation and CRM management experience, Microsoft Dynamics/Salesforce/Salesforce Account Engagement preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques (including paid campaigns, SEO and SEM, etc) and analytics tools to measure and optimise campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, an influential and collaborative communicator.
  • Results-oriented with capacity for both big-picture thinking and tactical execution.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly, establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships at all levels in a proactive manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative and enjoy working and excelling as part of a team.
  • Experience working with distributed stakeholder teams and collaborating cross-functionally across marketing, sales and product management.
  • Highly analytical with strategic mindset. Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based on data.
  • Proactive in seeking out solutions to business problems and bringing approaches to the organization. Take initiative to bypass roadblocks and think creatively on how to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Curious nature with a drive to innovate and seek continuous improvements.
  • Native in French, Fluent in English.
