Senior Manager Risk Distribution (f/m/d)

Here in France, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. The PMD department is responsible for the GTS Originate and Distribute strategy to be applied across existing and new transactions. The PMD team covers all GTS products, including Guarantees, Core Trade (FI and Corporate), Open Account (Receivables Finance, Supply Chain), Commodity Trade Finance and Asset-Backed Lending. The PMD team interacts with several internal and external investors, including Banks, Non-Banking Financial Institutions (Asset Managers, Insurance Cos.), the Insurance market (Surety, NPI, etc.), Family Offices and Private Banks.

What you will do:

The Senior Manager will work as part of an existing PMD team and report to the PMD Regional Head of Transactors. The role will be responsible for structuring the distribution of complex deals across the GTS product space with a specific focus on Receivables Finance transactions.

The base location for this role is HSBC France (Kleber, Paris). Flexible working options are available, and the role holder will be required to travel to team and client meetings.

In this role you will:

1. Support primarily Front-Line BDMs in pitching and structuring GTS transactions in Europe within the Receivables Finance space (but not limited to RF).
2. Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders in order to structure the distribution element of multi-currencies and cross-border transactions.
3. Actively promote originate and distribute strategy with internal stakeholders by conducting regular calls, training/coaching sessions, visits to sites, and any other promotional activities aimed to raise awareness of distribution capabilities and secure additional business.
4. Represent PMD team in external market bodies/events/conferences to develop market intelligence and establish a strong market presence.
5. Work in partnership with other Regional PMD teams and with the PMD Global team to coordinate the development of new distribution schemes.
6. Participate in the implementation and oversight of GTS policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance.
7. Closely follow the development of ESG solutions for trade finance to embed them in PMD solutions offered to external investors.
