Our Team :

Your Main responsibilities :

As an expert of tech / data analytics and digital law, you will support the CHC Global Consumer Experience Organization. In this context, you will drive the legal strategy for all the global projects (and any local projects as necessary) requiring a tech (in particular Artificial Intelligence), data analytics and digital law expertise.

Under the supervision of the Competition and Trade Law Legal Director, you will provide the following key activities :

• Define the corporate legal AI strategy by putting in place corporate IA guidelines, trainings and contractual tools.
• Act as a key stakeholder in the design, implementation and execution of a safe use of generative AI in compliance with existing and future laws.
• Provide tech / data analytics and digital law expertise to support any of the Global Consumer Experience Organization’s projects.
• Manage any business development project with tech companies.
• Negotiate and draft any commercial strategic partnerships requiring a tech / data analytics and digital law expertise.
• Provide tech, data analytics and digital law expertise to any local and / or global legal directors within the organization.
• Work closely with the corporate Data Privacy team to provide practical and thoughtful data legal advice.
• Spot legal trends to keep the Global Legal team and the Global Consumer Experience up to date on any relevant tech, data analytics and digital law topics that could impact our business.
• Be externally focused by taking active positions in any trade associations with strong expertise in tech, data analytics and digital law.
• Manage any authorities’ investigations, inspections and any internal audit involving a tech / digital legal dimension.
• Oversee and manage disputes and litigation related to tech, data analytics and digital legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with your budget.
• Oversee outside counsels, including selecting, budgeting, managing and evaluation.

Your key contacts :

• Internal: Business partners, Legal and Ethics and Business Integrity teams within and outside the GBU at global and local level.
• External: Public and private institutions, external law firms and trade associations.

About you

• Education: J.D or foreign equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar legal role in life science or fast-moving consumer good industries or in a law firm with a strong and recognized expertise in tech, data analytics and digital law topics.
• Soft skills: self-starter, autonomous, agile, willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, able to balance projects and prioritize quickly, intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity and risk and excited by dynamic change, high level of professional ethics and integrity, strong communication and interpersonal skills, good sense of humour.
• Technical skills: Strong knowledge / practice of the regulation related to Artificial Intelligence (EU AI Act & DSA among others), Intellectual Property, Data, good knowledge of contract / business law, well-honed organizational and analytical skills, comfortable dealing with fluid regulatory landscape.
• Languages: English (fluent written and oral). We take as a candy any additional EU language.
