Senior Java Developer

BE PART OF THE TEAM WORKING TOWARDS #BETTERGLOBALHEALTH

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with all business areas to gather product requirements and design.
2. Implement and test components of the system.
3. Analyze and evaluate requirements and propose high-level design and technical solutions at all stages of development.
4. Analyze solutions to ensure that they are interoperable, performant and maintainable.
5. Ensure that relevant documentation and frameworks are up to date.
6. Research technologies that will be used in new and existing modules of the solution (e.g., Machine Learning frameworks, data storage and capture frameworks, etc.).

Requirements:

1. 8+ years Java development experience.
2. Experience with Spring, REST, SQL, Git, etc.
3. Experience working with Kafka, Active MQ, or other MQ systems.
4. Experience with developing middleware products, unit test practices, transaction processing.
5. Previous experience working in a senior capacity on a development team.
6. Experience in end-to-end feature development.
7. Experience in healthcare is an asset but not required.
