Your Mission

As a Senior Front-End Web Developer at Villa Finder, you will:

• Architect Scalable Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of front-end architectures that optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Own & Innovate: Take full ownership of existing projects, identifying and executing opportunities for improvement.
• Build Cutting-Edge Products: Lead the creation of new features and tools, leveraging best practices in SSR, hydration strategies, and content generation pipelines.
• Elevate Front-End Standards: Act as a thought leader, mentoring the team and introducing advanced methodologies, frameworks, and tools.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

We’re seeking a developer with proven expertise who thrives in challenging environments. Ideal candidates will have:

1. Technical Expertise

• Front-End Mastery:
• Strong CSS skills, whether Vanilla CSS or advanced preprocessors (SASS). Bonus for experience with utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Mastery of modern bundlers (Webpack, Vite) and their configuration for complex applications.
• Performance Optimization:
• Expert-level understanding of Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) and Google PageSpeed metrics.
• Advanced skills in lazy loading, code splitting, SSR (Server-Side Rendering), and hydration strategies.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks with data-driven solutions.
• Back-End Collaboration:
• Bonus if you have experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
• Familiarity with Twig templates and API-first architectures.
• Hands-on experience designing systems with scalability, maintainability, and cross-platform compatibility in mind.

2. Foundational Knowledge

• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns).
• Experience with Unix CLI, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS is a strong plus.

3. Bonus Skills

• Background in web design and familiarity with tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Prior experience with hybrid rendering approaches (e.g., combining SSR, SSG, and client-side rendering).
