Senior Data Scientist

In the DELMIA R&D Operations Planning & Optimization department, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to strengthen our Machine Learning team. You will help us to create world-class machine learning experiences that support our customers with their daily planning

puzzles in the areas of supply chain, workforce, logistics, or rail operations. This is a full-time job based in the Dassault Systèmes R&D Lab in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.

Your main goal will be to deliver such machine learning systems.

Role Descriptions & Responsibilities:

• Research and develop machine learning algorithms to support decision processes in planning of supply chain, workforce, logistics, or rail operations.
• Integrate machine learning systems into cloud products and deploy them in production environments.
• Analyze and discover machine learning opportunities in cooperation with product managers and domain experts.
• Collaborate with other data scientists in the team as well as other brands of Dassault Systèmes.
• Promote development and adoption of new methods in machine learning.
• Keep developing yourself and share knowledge with the broad team of machine learning experts, operations research scientists, and domain experts.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience in machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries like pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch. Experience with Java or similar programming languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of operations research or supply chain planning is also nice to have.
• High abstraction level and analytic ability.
• Strong communication skills in English.
