Built for Shopify and powered by advanced ecommerce integrations, Gorgias's conversational AI understands your brand, tools, policies, and customers to drive personalized, 1-to-1 conversations - from editing orders and initiating returns to making product recommendations. The position is available across our European hubs, including Paris (France), Lisbon (Portugal), Bucharest (Romania), and Belgrade (Serbia). Our work arrangement is hybrid, with a requirement of two days per week in the office.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, working with both frontend (React.Js, Angular, VueJS) and backend (Python, NodeJS, Java, C#, C++, Go, Ruby) technologies.
• You have professional experience with React.Js
• You have experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with product teams, and contributing to a high-performing, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end features, with a strong focus on monitoring and maintaining code in production.
• Proven track record of scaling backend systems to handle thousands of requests per second efficiently.
• You have demonstrated a strong sense of ownership in previous roles, particularly in fast-paced startup environments.

Languages you will use : Python, TypeScript, SQL

Libraries and technologies you will work with : React.JS, Flask, FastAPI (Python), PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git

Organization tools : Linear, GitHub, GitHub Action, Swarmia, Slack, Google WorkSuite

Interview Process

Our interview process consists of 4 main steps and typically takes around two weeks from the initial screening to the offer stage, with feedback provided every 48 hours.

• Meet one of our tech recruiters (30 minutes)
• Meet two of our Engineering Managers (45 minutes)
• Technical Stage: Live System design assessment (60 minutes) & live coding session (60 minutes)
• Meet the CTO and co-founder (30 minutes)

After completing these steps, we conduct reference checks before extending an offer.
