Senior construction director (M/F)

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director / Production Manager with specialized expertise in NATM, Drill & Blasting or shaft excavation underground tunneling projects to lead the construction efforts for the prestigious Sharaan project in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of tunnel engineering, project management, and a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects. Due to its location and remoteness, the candidate should have a firm ability to federate people and lead human large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the underground tunnel project, from initial planning through execution, to completion.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet project milestones and deadlines.
3. Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and construction workers.
4. Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including contractors and community representatives to ensure project alignment and success.
6. Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project integration and resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures to stay within budget.
8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
9. Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including financial performance, to senior management and stakeholders.
