Senior Collection Merchandiser for Men’s RTW

SCOPE :

Supports the construction of the Men’s RTW collections in terms of product offering, price and strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

COLLECTION BRIEF

• Participates in the definition of the collection brief based on brand equity, sales history and competition.
• Monitors Retail performance by category and by region to best inform product briefing to Design.
• Liaises actively with Central Sales Merchandising team to gather qualitative feedback from the markets.
• Produces end of showroom digests in Retail & Wholesale sales (Sell In) and end of season recaps (Sell Out Retail) to contribute to product brief of upcoming collections.

COLLECTION FOLLOW-UP

• Liaises actively with Development to ensure PLM is kept up-to-date with range plan.
• Supervises collection development monitoring tools to support product follow-up with senior management.

PRICING / MARK-UP

• Participates in the definition of pricing strategy in line with desired positioning and target margin.

PREBUY

• Supports the pre-buy process as part of the seasonal demand planning.

SELLING CAMPAIGN

• Prepares buying tools leading up to showrooms (line sheets, collection plans, exit list).
• Supports the preparation of commercial looks in view of product training and E-commerce shooting.
• Assists in the preparation of training tools to Retail and Wholesale teams in the showroom.
• Maintains and updates Merchandising files throughout buying campaign.

TRAINING

• Provides content and supports training actions of the Retail regions to ensure successful product and collection launches in stores.

PROFILE

• Excel (high level) and Powerpoint.
• English & French mandatory, Spanish / Italian would be a plus.
• Strong analytical skills & fashion sensibility.
