What you will do:
- Responsible for driving key client relationships directly and by coordinating the sales activity in the respective countries. Manage the structuring and sale of highly customized cross-border GTRF products, services and consultative solutions to the clients to generate group-wide income and enhance group relationships. Participate in cross-sell of all Group GTRF products, including complex regional products, to customers.
- Maintain strong awareness of competitor, economic, political and regulatory environments impacting the business. Maintain and enhance Company and Group image through establishing and maintaining a strong customer calling program and participating in industry conferences/speaking engagements.
- Deliver ambitious targets aiming to double the size of the revenues by 2025.
- Actively drive effective wallet planning and pro-active sourcing of new sales business across Public Sector, Government Related Entities, Insurance and Funds sectors.
- Drive the acquisition of new customer mandates and complex deals from existing and New to Bank/New to Trade clients, engage with the clients with the aim to originate business opportunities.
- Execute on our FIG strategy by positioning HSBC as a thought leader across sophisticated and demanding clients.
- Engage with Relationship Bankers on client calls and account planning sessions, navigate complex stakeholders to deliver a best of class clients experience for key strategic and sensitive relationships.
- Accountability of key strategic relationships and ability to deliver impact in front of Senior Executives.
- Coaching, sharing and mentoring sales and service team with necessary industry and regulatory knowledge.
- Strategize and commercialize our ambition for growing the FIG business.
- Profitability - Embed distribution and Increase Returns.
- Digitization of FI trade.
You should apply if you have:
- Transaction banking experience with a wider GTB experience in Banks and non-bank FIs.
- Knowledge of trade finance products and market solutions.
- Knowledge of the GTRF market trends including an awareness of regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of Credit & Risk including techniques to mitigate risk.
- Broad knowledge of HSBC Group companies and regional capabilities.
- Very strong MS Excel and MS Power Point tools.
- Strong accounting and quantitative skills.
- French speakers only.
