ZIMMERMANN is seeking a dedicated Accountant EU & UK to join our finance team and play a crucial role: responsible for overseeing the financial activities within the assigned perimeter, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Missions (EN): Financial Closing

• Complete the month end closing in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform the Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Provide support to the finance management during the Year End Audit

Bank Reconciliations

• Apply and reconcile receipts from retail & online / e-comm sales channels including investigation and resolution of till and other POS variances
• Complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations for respective bank accounts in a timely and accurate manner

Financial Reporting

• Review the monthly P&L analyzing key variances to budget / forecast
• Update the rolling forecast on monthly bases

Budget

• Preparation of the financial budget and coordination of the budget process across the main stakeholders

Retail

• Preparation and distribution of monthly reports to key external stakeholders
• Preparation and distribution of monthly and ad-hoc reports to key internal stakeholders as required
• Commissions calculation for the retail selling team

Project

• Actively participate on the continuous improvement of Zimmermann finance and accounting operations through ad-hoc projects which could arise within the retail and online scope.

The successful candidate will also possess:

• Master degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English and French
• Analytical background, with a high attention to detail
• Enthusiastic with an ability to grasp new concepts quickly
• Clear communicator
• Good team player
• Advanced knowledge of MS office, particularly Excel
