Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity with many advantages in the Oil and Gas career sector in one of the most important projects handled by SPIE in Qatar with QatarEnergy. The project has completed 8 years of multi-discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of a large Industrial Area.
Client satisfaction has concluded with new project contract awards and new positions added.
Hands-on experience in all types of Heavy equipment/Fire trucks and Pumps is required.
To monitor the computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order, Service Entry Sheet in SAP.
Troubleshoot maintenance faults, problem-solving, and providing on-the-job training to less experienced technicians and foremen.
Hands-on experience in working with the Work Permit system in the Oil & Gas Industry is essential.
The candidate shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations undertaken by the maintenance team under their control. A thorough knowledge of all aspects of automobile maintenance work is required.
In addition, a sound understanding of QatarEnergy safety rules and regulations is a requirement.
Operation and maintenance of complete automobile systems, which includes supervision, planning and scheduling, and inspection.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols.
Your main duties will be to:
Ideally, you will have a Diploma in automobile technology with a minimum of 3 years experience in Fire Trucks and Equipment as a foreman or a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Technician or Technician in carrying out maintenance activities.
You shall be familiar with fittings and material specifications.
Experience with computerized maintenance systems, handling of Notification, Work Order, and Service Entry Sheet in SAP is required.
Knowledge in interpreting SPIRS and identification of spares, as well as knowledge of Inventory Control and Project Management, is essential.
You shall be capable of troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing related automobile components and systems.
You shall be responsible for providing a variety of skilled work related to the maintenance and repair of automobile systems, as well as for planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of subordinates.
You shall be familiar with material specifications, bearings, fasteners, P&ID, Piping Isometric drawings, and the like.
Familiarity with hand tools, fasteners, and other similar equipment is expected.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
The candidate must possess general skills such as repairing and maintaining equipment, running diagnostics, and identifying problems.
Additional important abilities include documentation and communication skills.
Organization, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Computer literacy is essential, and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages is required.
Good knowledge of English and Mathematics at the level required for the duties, with proficiency in spoken and written English, is necessary.

Completion of 10 years of education followed by further technical education or equivalent standard in Mechanical/Automobile Diploma (3 years) or any trade certificate (2 years).

Must have a Qatari Driving License.
