Senior Account Executive

Owkin is building the first universal AI Operating System called K to lay the foundation for Biological Artificial Superintelligence (BASI). This OS integrates a suite of AI agents that decode complex biology, accelerate research, and dramatically increase productivity. Acting as copilots, Owkin K agents will automate drug discovery and diagnostics and power next-gen pharma companies.

Owkin's OS will be powered by the world's largest federated multimodal patient data network, a robotized lab, leading AGI technologies, and cutting-edge multimodal foundation models and LLMs.

About the role:

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and biologists, as well as business stakeholders, to define product strategy, roadmap, and execution plans. The majority of your work will be focused on defining the strategy rather than day-to-day operations. You'll leverage your expertise in product management and data management to shape the future of Owkin's data platform.

In particular, you will:

• Platform Strategy: Develop and communicate the vision and strategy for our internal data platform, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals. You'll create a comprehensive roadmap that considers the needs of data engineers, data scientists, business objectives, and industry best practices.
• Platform Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, and data scientists to translate your platform strategy into robust and scalable ETL processes, data orchestration workflows, and optimized file formats.
• Cloud Integration: Drive the integration and optimization of our data platform within cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS. You will ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
• User Adoption: Implement strategies to increase the adoption and effective use of our data platform across the organization. Gather feedback from users, provide training resources, and continuously refine the platform to meet evolving needs.

Position is based in our Paris or Nantes offices or remotely in France.

About you

Required qualifications / experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on data platforms, ETL processes, and orchestration.
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS, and a solid understanding of data infrastructure and architecture.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to a diverse audience, including stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Strong leadership skills, demonstrated by successful collaboration in cross-functional teams, effectively managing ambiguity and competing priorities.
