Team

Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts. You’ll be part of an internal Core team of Voodoo, an international team based in Paris focused on turning our highest-potential new games into worldwide hits.

Role

We are looking for a senior 2D - UI/UX artist who has been a primary contributor to the art concept, design, and asset creation for several casual games. You will work closely with our Unity game developers and game artists.

  1. Work closely with small teams of Unity game developers and artists.
  2. Provide and analyze art references for games and features, create sketches and mock-ups with their iterations.
  3. Create and adapt 2D game assets and user interface elements.
  4. Create 2D mockups of VFX for the game artists to integrate.
  5. Make sure your work is proper for the Unity developers and game artists to use.

Profile

  1. Good English to communicate smoothly with the team.
  2. At least 2 years of prior experience working on mobile games.
  3. Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Designer etc. have no secrets for you and you can conceptualize and create any 2D asset and user interface.
  4. You have technical knowledge to export your assets properly.
  5. You have strong artistic foundations and a keen eye for detail.
  6. You are adaptable, and able to adjust your style to match different games.
  7. You work collaboratively with other artists, give and receive feedback with care.
  8. You consistently push boundaries, strive to enhance your art each day, and embrace new technologies.
  9. You love the mobile games market and understand the importance of data to make decisions.
