Job Title: SAP OPAL Label Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP OPAL (One Platform for All Labels) Label Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing labeling solutions within the SAP environment using SAP OPAL, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP OPAL Implementation & Configuration:
  • Design, configure, and deploy SAP OPAL-based labeling solutions.
  • Expertise in label design software (e.g., BarTender, NiceLabel) and OPAL's own Label Management System.
  • Customize SAP OPAL to align with business processes and industry standards.
  • Integrate OPAL with SAP modules such as SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD, and SAP QM.
  • Printing Knowledge: Proficiency in various printing technologies and their applications in labeling.
• Label Design & Development:
  • Work with business stakeholders to define label requirements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy label templates using SAP OPAL tools.
  • Ensure label compliance with industry standards (e.g., GS1, FDA, ISO).
• Integration & Troubleshooting:
  • Configure label printing solutions and integrate them with SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Troubleshoot label printing issues and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity with printers and hardware.
• Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure labeling solutions comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices for internal reference.
• User Training & Support:
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP OPAL functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements based on business needs.

Job Requirements Details:

Language: English is the preferred language. Portuguese, Spanish, Italian would be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP Labeling solutions, preferably with SAP OPAL.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PP, SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD, or SAP QM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of barcode and RFID label printing solutions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with SAP OPAL configuration and label template development.
  • Knowledge of SAP ABAP, SmartForms, or Adobe Forms is a plus.
  • Understanding of Zebra, NiceLabel, or Bartender label printing software.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP OPAL certification (if available).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA labeling solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based label printing technologies.

Pay Range: $60.00 - $65.00
