SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud) Lead Consultant

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP DMC Lead Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) solution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are aligned with industry standards, while enabling smart factory capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP DMC Implementation:

1. Oversee end-to-end implementation of SAP DMC solutions for manufacturing clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Coordinate with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

1. Work with clients to define business requirements and map them to SAP DMC functionalities.
2. Conduct workshops and gather functional requirements to design the DMC architecture.

Solution Design and Configuration:

1. Lead the solution design phase by defining processes, configurations, and system architecture to meet client requirements.
2. Configure SAP DMC modules and integration with other SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, MES, etc.).

Project Management:

1. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely and successful project execution.
2. Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring any risks or issues are identified and mitigated.

System Integration:

1. Coordinate integration efforts between SAP DMC and other systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, MES, IoT solutions, etc.).
2. Support seamless data flow and ensure the proper functioning of interfaces.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

1. Develop and execute testing strategies (unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests) for SAP DMC.
2. Ensure the final solution meets all functional and technical requirements before go-live.

Training and Support:

1. Provide end-user training on SAP DMC functionalities, promoting adoption across the organization.
2. Offer post-implementation support, resolving any issues and ensuring the ongoing optimization of SAP DMC.

Continuous Improvement:

1. Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in digital manufacturing and SAP solutions.
2. Recommend improvements and best practices to enhance the client’s manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

1. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in SAP DMC implementations, with at least 3+ years in a lead consultant role.
2. Proven experience in end-to-end SAP DMC project life cycles, from design to deployment.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of SAP DMC, its modules, and related SAP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES), IoT, Industry 4.0).
2. Experience in integrating SAP DMC with other systems, including external IoT devices and manufacturing execution systems.
3. Hands-on experience with configuration, testing, and troubleshooting in SAP DMC.

Project Management Skills:

1. Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting.
2. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

Communication Skills:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Ability to work closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring alignment across all parties.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing solutions.
2. Knowledge of industry standards, such as ISA-95, Industry 4.0, and IoT in manufacturing.
3. SAP certification in Digital Manufacturing Cloud or related modules.
4. Experience with cloud technologies and enterprise solution architectures.
