Icebreaker EMEA is looking for an exceptional Sales Representative to join our Sales Team based in Annecy.

Let's Talk About The Role

You as Sales Representative will have the ultimate end responsibility for managing the French portfolio of specialty accounts and reports directly into the Sales Manager. The Sales Representative is the account lead, responsible to develop all opportunities in the area of sales, marketing, product and operations are heard and quantified within the distribution. The primary goal is to ensure that all seasonal and yearly quantitative and qualitative objectives are met and aligned to the overall EMEA channel strategy.

You will be responsible for managing seasonal sell-in campaigns, in season management (shipping-credit-account connection) and sell-thru targets and opportunities to drive growth with the market within Icebreaker framework and strategies.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

SALES:

  • Develop detailed sales plans to drive results and achieve business targets.
  • Prospect new accounts to widen brand presence in the country.
  • Maintain close relations with the customer base by frequent regional travel.
  • Actively train, and visit key doors to boost sell thru.
  • Closely work with marketing to develop Icebreaker brand awareness.
  • Prepare, agree and submit seasonal product forecasts for all accounts.
  • Build strong working partnerships with accounts, sales associates, buyers.
  • Close communication with all internal departments (head office, marketing, retail department, finance, operations etc.) on a frequent basis.

VM / MARKETING:

  • Execute Visual Merchandising plans and premium brand presentation in all points of sale.
  • Support marketing team in marketing execution instore.
  • Seasonally update POS and VM in all accounts.

Skills For Success

Our ideal candidate will have deep understanding of the brand as well as an affinity with the brand's key drivers: outdoor and performance culture and activities with:

  • Experience: Equivalent of 2-3 years’ sales/marketing account management experience, ideally for an outdoor apparel wholesaler.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Exceptional relationship building & management skills and motivation to meet targets.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and skill.
  • Great time-management and prioritizing skills and experience delivering to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and practices.
  • Ability to work at a strategic level within the accounts but at the same time manage the detail.

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
