Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing, self-starting Sales Manager to lead commercial efforts across the United States.
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Revenue, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across 3 key market sectors:
- Social Media
- Pay-TV (Cable, but also IPTV and Satellite operators)
- Streaming Services (OTT)
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing high-value deals involving licensing, integration services, and strategic partnerships.
The role will also involve supporting V-Nova in:
- Supporting and originating LCEVC demand with TV and STB ecosystem partners (OEMs and chip vendors)
- Evangelizing LCEVC with Free-to-Air broadcasters
- Opportunistically supporting VR/XR initiatives
Location: Remote - USA based (with travel to clients and events as required)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for LCEVC adoption across target verticals.
- Identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term revenue opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and close.
- Build relationships with Tier-1 broadcasters, streamers, social platforms, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Represent V-Nova at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with technical solutions.
- Accurately forecast revenue and report on KPIs and market insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B technology sales, preferably in the video delivery, compression, or media tech sector.
- Demonstrated success selling complex technology to media companies or OEMs.
- Deep understanding of the broadcast, streaming, or video codec landscape.
- Strong network in the U.S. media and technology ecosystem is a significant plus.
- Proven ability to close enterprise-level deals and manage strategic accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and remotely.
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. and occasionally internationally.
