Job Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of low-pressure equipment (air blowers and low-pressure compressors) across EGY Region, with a strong focus on the water, wastewater, cement, and general industry sectors.

The Mission of the successful candidate will be:

  1. Achieve sales targets by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  2. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to increase market share.
  3. Regularly visit clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Ensure Atlas Copco products are registered with water & wastewater authorities and main contractors.
  5. Work closely with key decision-makers to expand the company’s presence in the region.
  6. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including pricing calculations and bid submissions.
  7. Provide accurate technical guidance and respond to customer inquiries effectively.
  8. Focus on delivering energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to meet customer needs.
  9. Collaborate with the aftermarket team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  10. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to provide valuable market insights.
  11. Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the C4C CRM system.
  12. Provide regular updates to the Business Line Manager on sales performance and market developments.

To succeed, you will need:

Experience requirements

  1. Minimum 2 years of sales & marketing experience, preferably in compressed air solutions.
  2. Fresh graduate engineers with strong potential will also be considered.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  4. Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  5. Self-motivated, energetic, and a strong team player.
  6. Ability to manage sales forecasts and work towards achieving targets.
  7. A valid driving license.

Educational requirements

  1. University Degree in Engineering
