To move a step further towards this vision and provide clients with an increasingly integrated and seamless experience we recently created a new business unit offering our own energy contracts and originated a new energy provider on the French market: Papernest Energie.

This launch has been successful and we are looking for a Head of Business Unit to take responsibility for the overall management of Papernest Energie including ownership of the P&L and launch of any offer expansion initiative.

Your missions :

  • Own all aspects of the activity (strategic, financial, technical, legal, etc.)
  • Ensure achievement of P&L targets
  • Generate initiatives and coordinate related efforts to improve key metrics

Driving your own business unit P&L you are empowered to make a strategic impact for Papernest. You will report to Damien Theis (Chief New Business Unit). This is a true and rare entrepreneurial opportunity!

Your responsibilities :

  • Handling the strategic vision and the overall roadmap
  • Your own business unit P&L business plan and resource allocation based on a top down and operational view of the business
  • Managing scale through structured and rigorous project management coordinating inside and outside of BU teams
  • Defining product roadmap with Product and Tech teams based on your in depth & 360 understanding of the business and strategy and develop a detailed understanding of product architecture. Coordination with Data, CRM, Operations and Finance teams.

Your profile :

  • Degree from a top-tier business or engineering school
  • 3 years of professional experience ideally in a strategy consulting firm or in the energy sector
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Great structuring & problem solving skills
  • Pragmatic approach
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: need a get it done mindset
  • Capacity to oversee, understand and manage a wide variety of subjects and activities (customer care, financial modeling, tech, legal, admin, sourcing, etc.)
  • Fluent in French
