Position Summary

We are looking for a diligent Sales Administrative coordinator to support our team in the national market. You will manage internal tasks for new customer setup and growth, providing essential administrative support to the national Team. Strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit are essential for delivering exceptional customer service.

A day in the life of a Sales Administrative coordinator

As a Sales Administrative coordinator, you will be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life with lots of autonomy and support to really thrive.

You will also:

  1. Ensure accurate and timely update of Internal and External Sales planning tools including deal documentation of trade activities that have been planned & confirmed by the Key Account Manager (KAM) & Account Managers (AM).
  2. Be the administrator & liaison for customer portals & tools related to customer activity offers and listing packages; including new listings, price changes (costing sheets), seasonal programs, and other specific customer requests.
  3. Organize Internal & External functions including venue identification and all elements of set up and coordination. Support sample order process and delivery of best in class organization of events.
  4. Provide Customer Development Team (CDT) support through Retail Development communication and effectiveness. This includes; Customer commodity & article code update and accuracy and preparation/ recap of retail booking forms.
  5. Source images and build material for customer presentations and that support brand-building efforts.
  6. Place / manage all sample orders and create purchase orders for the Grocery CDT teams to enable effective operation of the customer team.
  7. Responsible for administrative tasks to support Customer Development Team & its Team Leads.
  8. Support Grocery account by creating & updating relevant reporting to enhance analytics & decision making.
  9. Maintain accuracy of item catalogue specifications and content for Grocery including support on product detail accuracy.
  10. Investigate and initiate project opportunities to improve day-to-day activities while demonstrating a continuous improvement and root cause mindset.

Role Requirements

  1. 2+ years of experience in a sales or in an analytical position.
  2. Post secondary education in Business Administration or similar subject area.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  4. Excellent communication and project management skills.
  5. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, maintaining organization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
