La mission

The Research Department of Generali is looking for a trainee to join the Credit Research team in their office in Paris.

Working closely with the Credit Analyst in a team of 15 persons, you will be able to follow and participate in every activity of the team. While learning about full credit analysis and rating agencies methodologies, your main missions will be the following:

• Takeover the already existing process of ESG credit integration data management to update:
• 1 / the ESG credit integration factsheets detailing material ESG credit factors for each individual issuer
• 2 / the peer group analysis highlighting the winners & laggards for each ESG credit factor detailed in the factsheets Internal
• Keep track and communicate to credit analysts the evolution of the availability of data from various data providers (Bloomberg, ESG scoring agencies, rating agencies, SBTi, bond issuers)
• Assist analysts in the preparation of high-quality documents for Investment Committees as required
• Develop a suite of quantitative tools aimed at strengthening the quality of investment recommendations and improving the productivity of the research and investment platform

Your profile:

• You’re pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance ideally looking for your end-of-studies internship
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. French and/or Italian are a plus
• You have ideally done a previous internship in Accounting or Finance or on a similar post
• You have professional experience or academic projects involving development in Python
• You are able to integrate into a group coding process and know how to use Git
• You have a good knowledge of PowerBI and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (VBA and Bloomberg formulas)
• You are known for your communication skills and efficiency, as well as your ability to work in a team and under pressure
• You’re interested in ESG topics
