RF IC design Manager - Radar Automotive

NXP is the leader on the automotive RADAR market. High-performance transceivers are one of the key differentiating assets integrated into our Systems on Chip.

In this position, we are looking for a director to lead our Radar transceiver design center located in Toulouse (France).

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to strengthen our international Transceiver engineering organization by leading a team (+20 people) developing mmW & RF CMOS IPs to be integrated into Radar Front End transceivers dedicated to automotive applications.

The scope of the team covers definition, modeling, design & verification, support to validation and industrialization.

1. You will drive IP execution and delivery to SoC integration.
2. You will manage resource allocation and planning in collaboration with our projects leads and management team for innovation and new product introduction projects.
3. You will drive the development of your team accordingly to the competence and growth strategies.
4. You will nurture high performance culture within your team by running our performance management process.
5. You will be an actor of change by identifying and deploying new methodologies & tools related to RF & millimeter-Wave design.
6. You will contribute to NXP's impact on regional and international eco-systems by developing relationships with industrial and academic partners.
7. You will ensure compliance of your team deliveries to our design flow and quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO 26262 and CMMI).

Your Profile

1. Master or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
2. Experience in managing an engineering team
3. Excellent communication skills proven across in an international organization
4. Hands-on experience in RF or mmW IC design, analog and mixed signal design. RF and RADAR systems experience is a plus.
5. Good knowledge of analog design flow, tools and methodologies.
6. Experience in developing and launching high volume RF products into production including automotive market.
