The Logistics Manager will ensure continuity and excellence in execution of logistics operations, including:

distribution to customers

stock transfer order from plant and external 3PL warehouse

Your experience in logistics operation will help the team to work out cost-effective solutions as well as ensuring great customer experience.

The role manages a team of 5 people and reports to the France Supply-chain Manager as part of the European Planning and Logistics team.

The selected individual must drive action to achieve Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Saving targets.

Responsible for Ecolab Leadership Model approach to envision, empower, engage, energize, embody our mission and values to be a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.

What you will do:

  1. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  2. Liaise and negotiate with external 3PL and transportation contacts to ensure efficient operations.
  3. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics.
  4. Work closely with internal stakeholders such as the local SC team, the local manufacturing plant, and regional Planning & Logistics teams to execute daily operations.
  5. Communicate effectively and foster clear and positive cooperation with team and internal contacts to address service and cost goals. Monitor customer requirements to execute high service levels and maintain Ecolab interest.
  6. Manage urgent ad hoc and routine analytical requests.
  7. Identify and execute systemic process improvements.
  8. Lead carrier selection in conjunction with procurement and the European carrier management.
  9. Partner with European Supply-chain to implement continuous improvement solutions.
  10. Partner with local business to drive customer-focused supply chain improvement.
  11. Partner with customer service.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  2. Proven working experience (8+ years) in logistic operations.
  3. 3+ years previous experience in managing others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in chemical supply chain environment, FMCG, agro industry, etc.
