It is overseen by operations managers who bring the team together to promote excellence in safety, quality, and productivity across all our sites. On your site, you will lead other managers and create the operational plan that will help your teams achieve their goals. This role involves fostering operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.

Key job responsibilities:

  2. Lead operational teams on a shift, solve problems, and positively impact site performance
  3. Analyze team performance against company objectives and implement actions to improve our operational excellence

A day in the life:

You will lead teams at one of our logistics sites. You will also be the key link between several teams, including Finance, Safety, and Operations Integration. This means you will closely manage the daily operations of the site, but you will also contribute to new innovative methods.
On a typical day, you will participate in meetings with colleagues from different departments, conduct in-depth analysis of performance and risk indicators for the sites, and think about the best ways to prepare for different levels of demand. Each day, you will also coach and mentor your team. You will lead by example as a leader and help your team become the best managers possible.

About the team:

Our Customer Fulfilment (CF) center is where it all began for Amazon. From a modest team of booksellers, CF has become a specialized global team that processes over 1.5 million orders every day. The CF team is the engine of our business, and its efforts have allowed us to expand into new regions and offer new services. With the help of emerging technologies, we are constantly looking for new solutions to offer a broader range of products of better quality, delivered quickly and at an affordable price.
The CF team is the first link in the chain that allows customers to receive products at the speed that has made our reputation. We are based in the fulfillment centers, which are at the heart of Amazon's operations network. Our centers are sometimes referred to as the "first mile" because this is where most Amazon packages begin their journey. We help manage dynamic inventories and facilitate fast deliveries, 24/7.
Our fulfillment centers bring together diverse profiles, and there are many opportunities available. Some team members work with physical products, while others analyze data. Together, we work to ensure that everyone can make informed decisions across the business.

  1. A university degree
  2. Significant experience in managing human resources and stakeholders
  3. Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with an intermediate level of French
  4. Significant experience in using data or testimonials to influence business decision-making
  5. Significant experience in key areas of production and supply chains

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
