As part of the Chanel One program, GDS (Global Digital Services) is willing to reinforce its platform team with a new SRE Monitoring & Performance Specialist.

YOUR MISSIONS :

• Lead Continual Service Improvement initiatives such as :
• Improve environment refresh :
• Perform Initial scoping (As-Is, To-Be, backlog definition, refinement and planning)
• Lead implementation (Follow-up on planning, risks and issues, coordination, reporting and communication)
• Improve existing scripts & test
• Implement load testing tool :
• Perform Initial scoping (As-Is, To-Be, backlog definition, refinement and planning)
• Lead implementation (Follow-up on planning, risks and issues, coordination, reporting and communication)
• Install, configure, test and validate technical solution
• Communicate on tool use cases and prepare documentation
• Act as Dynatrace referring GDS contact :
• Being able to present Dynatrace implementation for www.chanel.com (TST & PRD) – Ad-hoc :
• What is monitored and how (server side, synthetics)?
• Problem detection and alerting
• Availability and performance reports
• Provide awareness on Dynatrace and help teams using it – Ad-hoc
• Provide Dynatrace expertise to investigate and identify metrics to troubleshoot (TST & PRD) – Ad-hoc
• Analyze and report on www.chanel.com (PRD) availability and performance :
• Investigate synthetics failures (Dynatrace and / or platform issues) – Daily
• Review and request for maintenance windows adjustment post deployment – Monthly
• Report on availability and performance KPI - Monthly
• Coordinate with Dynatrace team (partner) monitoring detection and alerting improvements for www.chanel.com (TST & PRD) – Ad-hoc Grant access to Dynatrace by assigning users to groups – Ad-hoc
• Manage Dynatrace (enable / disable monitoring, tags, management zone, alerting, problem detection) Test environment – Ad-hoc
• Act as load testing tool referring GDS contact :
• Being able to present the solution implementation and provide awareness
• Support teams in scoping load tests needs (not full campaign)
• Script and execute tests
• Review tests results and share performance observations

YOUR PROFILE :

• At least 8 years of experience
• Scripting in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience of production tools such as : Dynatrace or any other APM (mandatory) ; Elastic Stack (Elastic Search, Kibana, Filebeat …)
• Knowledge of any load testing framework (K6, Gatling, JMeter …)
• Experience working with DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI or Jenkins ..)
• Experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS) for web applications
• Strong experience in digital, web solutions and eCommerce domain
• Strong experience in development best practices
• Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate them in plain language
• Ability to work in a distributed environment with onshore and offshore teams
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Eager to continuously improve and optimize
• French written and spoken
• Good level of English written and spoken
