The Regional Talent Acquisition Manager proactively leads and coordinates recruitment initiatives across all countries within the region. This role involves collaboration with Country HR Directors and Country Talent Acquisition Specialists to develop impactful recruitment strategies, optimize costs, and align Country recruitment strategies with business needs and Global People imperatives.
This role offers a lot of autonomy to test and implement innovative ideas, scale best practices across the region and move the needle on candidate experience to ensure that Knauf builds and maintains a highly skilled and diverse workforce as it enters its next phase of growth. The role is ideal for a solutions-oriented, tech-savvy and collaborative Talent Acquisition Leader who can navigate ambiguity and changing priorities in a regionally dispersed matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with Global People Organization and Country HR Directors (+ Country Talent Acquisition Specialists) to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies.
- Process and Guideline Development: Together with Country HR Directors, develop regional guidelines and processes.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze recruitment expenditures and identify opportunities to reduce costs through efficient sourcing, process improvements, and leveraging technology.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a strong network with Country Talent Acquisition Specialists to share best practices, insights, and resources that enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand specific staffing requirements, providing strategic recommendations to streamline the recruitment process and optimize resource allocation.
- Employer Branding: Strengthen the company’s employer brand regionally through targeted outreach and participation in local job fairs and networking events.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of strategies, making informed adjustments to improve outcomes and cost efficiency.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Ensure that each country & regional org. reach DE&I objectives and foster DE&I culture.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all recruitment processes comply with legal regulations and internal policies while maintaining best practices across different countries.
- Candidate Experience: Together with Country teams, oversee the candidate journey, ensuring a positive and engaging experience from application to onboarding.
- Proactively develop actions to strengthen the recruitment skills within the region: develop training contents, facilitate trainings/workshops and facilitate “train the trainers” sessions to boost recruitment skillset.
- Identify & propose new tools and approaches to better identify strategic skillset that the Company would need in the future (Plant digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, etc.).
- Lead Employer Value Proposition and associated communication.
- Ensure the efficiency of the recruitment process in terms of connection between HR systems.
Your assets for this position:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role (direct or indirect), preferably in a regional capacity.
- Experience working with HR teams across multiple countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and locations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regional environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and software, including ATS systems.
- Good with data – a good knowledge of data analysis/reporting tools and the ability to collect, gather, and analyze data and present concise actionable results.
