Job description

Join our Digital Customer Success team and drive retention at scale! As a Renewal Manager, you'll lead the charge in ensuring seamless, data-driven customer renewals while uncovering opportunities for growth. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Renewal Success: Develop and execute renewal strategies and processes that support value-based upsells on renewals across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Optimise Renewals: Work with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to optimize the renewal process using customer health and adoption data.
  • Lead Negotiations: Scope, negotiate, and finalize renewals, balancing customer needs with business goals.
  • Engage and Retain: Maintain strategic, proactive and transparent communication with customers.
  • Track and Report: Follow renewal metrics, notably updating on pricing discussions and negotiations and forecasting ARR upsells leveraging analytics tools.
  • Optimize and Innovate: Continuously evaluate and enhance the Renewal process by testing new tactics, gathering feedback from customers, and working closely with cross-functional teams to scale success initiatives.
  • Risk management: Identify and escalate at-risk accounts needing additional support to CSMs or support teams to ensure timely and personalised assistance as needed.

Qualifications

  • You have solid experience in account management, customer success or renewal management in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • You are proficient with CRM and automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, Gainsight, HubSpot).
  • You have strong analytical skills and experience using analytics tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • You have solid negotiation skills, allowing you to get the most out of each renewal.
  • You speak French and English fluently (German would be a plus!)

  • Meet your future manager! This 45-60 minute interview will allow you to go in more depth into what the role entails and discuss your experience and skills.
  • Time to present! The final interview will be in two parts: a case study regarding a renewal in the context of Akeneo and a short presentation of a customer success story from your own experience.
