Your team:

Within the engineering division of the Paris office of Technip Energies, you will contribute to the Regulatory Compliance section.

With 60 years of experience in energy project design, the division is composed of 600 people representing all the disciplines present on our installations.

Driven by the inclusion values of the TEN group, the division relies on the diversity of its members to make progress. This means that this position is open to all and that your application will be specifically reviewed.

Within a multicultural task force, you will participate in the engineering and design of the projects carried out by TEN France for the various LBs of the group, decarbonized solutions (CO2 capture, H2, FOW), LNG or biofuels. On these projects, most often at export, you will interface with teams from other disciplines within TEN (project management, procurement, construction) as well as our mostly international partners (customers, sellers, value engineering and third parties).

Your daily activity:

As a Regulatory Compliance Engineer F/M, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing, maintaining and implementing project procedures related to regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring suitable reporting to project management and clients.
• Reviewing national regulations identified as applicable by the legal consultant and informing the project of regulations that impact each project phase, supporting clarification when necessary.
• Ensuring that documentation of regulatory compliance is robust and available.
• Establishing and maintaining a permitting register.
• Establishing and implementing a CE marking strategy, coordinating and supporting the project for the applicable European Directives; PED, ATEX, Machinery Directive, EMC, LV, etc. Adapting the workflow and cascading the requirements to Vendors and Subcontractors. Establishing and executing contracts with Notified Bodies.
• For Classification, Flag and Verification, establishing and executing contracts with third parties. Ensuring that all exchanges with third parties are performed in a timely manner and are of the right quality. Ensuring the requirements are cascaded to Vendors/Subcontractors if required and final certification is received on time.
• Supporting Project in Performance Standard coordination.

Your assets for success:

You are the ideal profile if you have an engineering degree and relevant work experience in the oil and gas or renewable energy industry, as well as experience working with third-party organizations and national authorities. You enjoy working in multicultural teams, highlighting your qualities of flexibility and openness.

You possess good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with third-party organizations, local authorities, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internally with multiple disciplines.

You have an understanding of industrial projects in the energy sector.

Analytical and organizational mindset, along with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures, are very much welcomed.

Your spirit of synthesis, dynamism, and a good level of English will be key to integrating you quickly and performing in our teams.
