Job Description

As a regulatory analyst, you will join the Volcker/LSB (Banking Separation Law) team, in charge of developing operational expertise on the "Volcker" and "Banking Separation Law" regulations applicable to any transaction with an investment fund or similar vehicle. It is part of the Natixis “Volcker compliance framework” and is the entry point for the businesses concerned by these issues. Its main mission is to determine the “covered fund” and “substantially leveraged UCI” statuses in light of these two regulations and prior to any transaction. This position requires interaction not only with the operational business lines (Real Assets, Global Markets, etc.) but also with other support functions (Legal, Compliance or Risk); wherever they are located, in France or internationally (UK, US, Asia).

On a daily basis, your duties are to:

• Assess and justify the compliance of transactions with respect to the Volcker rule; particularly through the analysis and identification of Covered Funds (Groupe BPCE scope);
• Determine the level of leverage of investment funds with which any credit and market transaction is carried out (investment perimeter banking);
• Support and advise the various business lines concerned by the Volcker and LSB regulations;

As a Volcker/LSB regulatory analyst, you also perform monitoring and reporting missions on these topics.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

You have at least 3 years of experience in compliance or risk related functions.

You are familiar with:

• Fund-type structures (mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, etc.) and related legal documentation;
• Banking (structured finance, credit derivatives, securitization, specific arrangements with SPV, etc.);
• Regulatory, legal and risk management issues.

You have an excellent relationship, a very good listening ability, and you are:

• Organized, autonomous, rigorous and proactive;
• Concise, accurate and able to act under pressure within tight deadlines.

You master English with a level C1.
