Regional Finance Controller / Director (WAF)

Redstone Commodity Search is working with an international trading house looking to hire a regional financial controller / director to join the team in Baar, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
• Budget Management: Collaborate in the development of annual budgets, monitor budget performance, and conduct variance analysis.
• Treasury Management: Manage daily cash flow, optimize fund allocation, and liaise with local banks for fund raising and related compliance.
• Tax and Compliance: Oversee tax planning, audits, and statutory compliance to ensure adherence to Swiss financial regulations.
• MIS Reporting: Provide management with insightful MIS reports related to financial performance, procurement, and other key metrics.
• Reports into CFO.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in the agricultural trading or related industry.
• Proficiency in English (read/write/speak) and fluent in French (speak/read).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP; familiarity with Swiss financial regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software packages.
• Analytical, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a multicultural and dynamic work environment.
• Must be located in Baar, Switzerland.
