YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE
The Regional Director of Quality Assurance provides leadership, direction and pro-active support to the facilities within the region and the global organization in assuring constant improvement and maintenance / consistency in quality systems management, service processes, technology, and customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Senior Director Global Quality Assurance and working in conjunction with the other members of the Global Quality Assurance Team, the incumbent establishes initiatives and goals in their region related to the global quality systems orientation. They also ensure implementation of global standard operating procedures, best quality assurance practices, and special projects, contributing with suggestions / feedback.
At all times, the Regional Quality Assurance Director acts in an ethical impartial manner and upholds the company values as defined in the Code of Conduct.
The main activities are:
YOUR PROFILE
You hold at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, chemistry, food science / technology, or quality assurance with at least a 10 years of broad technical experience in a relevant field, with at least 5 years in Quality System Management within ISO 17025 (or equivalent) and experience with the accreditation process.
Proven track record in handling topics with national authorities is ideal.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural and matrix organization.
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory, knowledge of other regional languages preferred (French, Spanish, German and / or Italian).
