Regional Director Account Management for Multinationals - France

Role: As Program Manager: Responsible for the overall strategic steering and coordination of Regional World Programs, as well as customer relationship management for the Program. Responsible for Account management for all Managing Insurers within the Region. Contributes to improving customer satisfaction by ensuring operational excellence through harmonized processes and organizational models (Support the transition to One WA (BT) in the Region).


Main tasks:

  1. As a team leader - Manages, leads, and motivates local Account managers and sales support under his responsibility.
  2. Defines and coordinates priorities, objectives, and ensures overall follow-up.
  3. Recruitment, training, and competence development plan.
  4. Develops and ensures achievement of targets.
  5. Controls and optimizes account management compliance as regards to EH WA processes, business rules, and systems.
  6. Informs and communicates on EHWA progress in your respective Region / EHBUS management team.

As Program Manager, reach targets of portfolio growth and quality:

  1. Ensure proper implementation of programs by taking an active role and ownership in the Business Implementation Committee (BIC) and coordination of World Agency teams both domestically and overseas.
  2. Secure Renewal by delivering the correct balance of customer need with EHWA business targets and metrics, identify cross- and up-selling opportunities, ensure proper pricing, and propose consistent terms and conditions during renewal.
  3. Perform amendments on existing programs/policies by handling and understanding issues in an international framework, ensuring the ongoing integrity of the program and delivery of local client needs.
  4. Review, analyze, and implement transfer requests from EHBUs to EHWATake personal responsibility for the implementation of group-wide quality of service standards.
  5. Be proactive in the ITMP project.
  6. Service customers based on guidelines of Operational Manual.
  7. Interact and coordinate closely with other core functions (i.e., Risk, Claims, PA) in order to propose a broad customer-centric service, as well as other EH WA Account Management Teams and EH WA Central Team.
  8. Apply WA commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio.
  9. Be the main contact person with the Broker and client program management teams.

  4. Ability to manage an Account Management team at Regional level.
  5. Deliver, through an excellent organization of the customer relationship and first-class execution, long-term profitability, high customer satisfaction rating (NPS) translated into high retention performance.
  6. Identifies new cross and up-selling business opportunities.

Knowledge / Experiences / Competencies required:

  1. Expert ability to manage and coordinate large global/remote teams to achieve objectives.
  2. Advanced ability to manage multi-dimensional channels (e.g., brokers, direct customer, bank).
  3. Advanced ability to interpret insurance key performance indicators (e.g., cost ratio, loss ratio) and act upon them accordingly.
  4. Advanced knowledge of the credit insurance industry, products, and regulations.
  5. Expert ability to manage clients and portfolios of accounts (programs) on a global basis to deliver best-in-class customer service.
  6. Expert ability to work to strategy guidelines to successfully achieve portfolio renewal.
  7. Expert ability to up and cross-sell products during customer interactions to achieve growth targets.
  8. Advanced ability to build extensive networks with close contacts to market players and opinion leaders.
  9. Competent knowledge of claims methodologies and the impact of policy conditions.
  10. Expert ability to negotiate with customers in order to achieve results.
  11. Advanced ability to communicate well via all mediums (e.g., email, phone) and at all levels of an organization within a multicultural setting.
  12. Advanced ability to operate in a matrix structure.
  13. Competent knowledge of basic IT systems (e.g., MS Word, Excel) and ability to learn new systems.
  14. Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English.
