Quality Contract Manager for Governmental Helicopters Support Contracts (M/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Quality Contract Manager for Governmental Helicopters Support Contracts (f/m) in the Support and Services division. You will join the Quality organization Department based in Marignane, France.

This organization is in charge of Quality, Regulation, and customer satisfaction for Support activities.

The Quality Contract Manager (= Ingénieur Qualité Contrat) is the counterpart of the Contract Manager (of MSCF department) and the Product Support Officers (of ESX department) for all quality aspects of a contract.

The jobholder is involved in:

• Support Contracts for Tiger: GSC, TLS
• Support Contracts for NH90: FOS, RFC, TLS
• Contributing throughout the contracts, from offer phase to contract execution and closure.

To cover the various contracts, the Quality Contract Manager for Governmental will manage two dedicated Quality Engineers.

Your challenges:

> Quality Assurance

• Translate contractual "Management and Quality" requirements through a Quality Plan, validated by the Contract Manager (or PSO) and delivered to the customer.
• Integrate all relevant regulatory requirements (21, 145, M) into the Quality Plan.
• Guarantee the respect of the Quality Plan by all stakeholders: S&S departments, suppliers…
• Perform surveillance on the processes described in the Quality Plan.
• For this activity, the Quality Contract Manager manages a dedicated Quality Engineer who is responsible for: - Defining the Surveillance Plan.
• Preparing Surveillance Questionnaires & Interview guidelines.
• Writing Surveillance reports, including remarks and CAR (Corrective Action Request).
• Following CAR treatment.
• Being the focal point towards the customer and NQAR (National Quality Assurance Representative) for quality topics.
• Demonstrating, through relevant KPI, the quality performance on the contract.

> Operational Quality

• Lead PPS (Practical Problem Solving) when a malfunction is identified, on product or process.
• Define and follow actions to improve quality with operational Quality departments.
• Treat the ISQI (In Service Quality Incident).
• For this activity, the Quality Contract Manager can rely on a dedicated ISQI Manager who is responsible for: - Implementing quality event treatment through NCM tool (Non-Conformity Management).
• Initiating protective, curative, corrective actions (excluding major incidents).
• Defining and periodically updating quality indicators relating to ISQI treatment.

Your profile:

• Master in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in operational contract management activities, production, or operational quality management.
• Knowledge of helicopter systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of S&S activities would be appreciated.
• Capacity to work in transversal activities, ability to analyze complex situations, and perform synthesis.
• Service mindset, welcome problems, rigor and follow standards, continuous improvement.
• English: fluent.
