Position Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Blois - France
Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Technician promotes quality awareness and ensures that the quality management system is followed consistently and supports all functions to ensure the system is up to date and actual practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety protocols are respected, and good housekeeping maintained (5s).
- Update and control Documentation in the Quality documentation System (work instructions, methods, and procedures).
- Ensure the Quality System is in line with the European guidelines and any external certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and TS 16949).
- Involvement during internal & external audits (ISO, Automotive, Housekeeping).
- Planning internal quality audits, implementation, and follow-up of non-compliance.
- Member of the Internal Auditor team.
- Root cause analysis working together as a team with Production, Maintenance, R&D, and Logistics for product non-conformity/quality incidents. Set up Corrective action plans and follow up on their compliance.
- KPI calculation for Quality Assurance and Control process, providing data and performing analysis.
- Prepare the required documentation and create certificates of conformity where necessary.
- Responsible for timely response/resolution to quality complaints and internal complaints/alerts.
- Support to quality control laboratory if needed.
- Work closely with production: check production orders and suggest good manufacturing practices, execute the samples analysis of batches in production, if necessary, execute analysis of finished products and authorize shipping to customers. Ensure the registration of the results in SAP and ACCESS.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bac +2 in chemistry or High school degree (BACC Chimie) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the adhesive industry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (French & English).
- Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP, Minitab.
- Rigorous, methodological, organized.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to work without supervision and to make decisions.
- Qualified Quality Auditor / Experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001:2015; experience in ISO 14001, TS 16949, ISO 22000 would be beneficial.
Physical Environment:
This position operates in a mixed environment of office and factory based on needs.
This position will work in a flexible time schedule, ensuring presence while production is busy.
