Context
The creation of the PWR Grid Market Division is part of Group’s global strategy. Nexans is operating a radical shift to become a differentiated player in Electrification, committed to Sustainable and Renewable energies, with the need to build integrated and differentiated global offers (incl. cable, accessories, packaging, services, data, etc.) and to interface upstream in the value chain with DSOs, developers, OEMs, Engineering firms, etc. to prescribe these global offers (1-Grid, 2-Renewables, 3-Data Centers/Critical Buildings).
One of these offers concerns the Renewables markets (Wind, Solar), which are today in a critical phase of development worldwide through new installation projects and upscaling programs.
Purpose
- Lead and support Marketing Communications plans to launch and scale Nexans global offers on Renewables vertical
- Participate in the development of PWR-Grid Marketing Communications strategy externally (content, digital, social media) and support the roadmap execution for Renewables offers
- Lead marketing communications plans and corresponding budgets with regions & BUs specifically on Renewables offers
- Contribute to the Nexans brand identity and equity through Marketing content and assets for Renewables offers, in link with PWR-Grid Offer Director - Renewables, PWR-Grid & Accessories Marketing Communications Manager and corporate communication
Areas of Responsibility
- Develop an integrated marketing communications plan for Renewables vertical, focusing on global offers and segments (incl. identification and mapping of main associations to cover by global offers, alignment on main communication channels to be used, that suit best countries & audiences targeted by offers)
- Propose and manage the Renewables offer’s Marcom programs and budget
- Own the offer marketing playbook, incl. sales & marketing push-pull tactics
Lead the Development of Renewables Marketing Communications Strategy
- Work with PWR-Grid & Accessories Marketing Communications & Branding Manager, Brand Director and Corporate Communications team (press, digital, social media, internal com, events) to develop the Renewables vertical’s MarCom roadmap framework (incl. key language elements to be re-used / adapted by countries afterwards, with focus on key global offers, in collaboration with regions)
- Build process, tool kits, templates and best practices library for the roadmap “Renewables offers”
- Deploy the Renewables offer’s roadmap with Regions to improve overall Renewables MarCom competencies
- Coordinate the related MarCom network and lead pilot project(s) globally
- Work on a storytelling dedicated to marketing, highlighting what makes Nexans unique (values, commitments, vision…) on the Renewables market
- Design and launch digital tools enabling the promotion of Renewables offers (e.g. online dynamic one pages Solar, webinars for products & Renewables vertical offers launches, etc.)
- Identify events related to the Renewables markets worldwide
Lead Marketing Communications Plans and Corresponding Budgets
- Define management routines with the Marketing network concerned with Renewables
- Consolidate dedicated MarCom plan with support of Regions to build Renewables view
- Support Renewables customers events & raise the brand image and company profile worldwide
- Contribute to Account Based Marketing and Marketing Automation programs (company newsletter, etc.)
Contribute to Nexans Brand Identity and Equity
- Ensure the respect of the Brand voice, graphic and content guidelines, including evolutions and brand image surveys for Renewables MarCom documents/actions
- Contribute to a global brand image platform including guidelines, set of templates and tools (e.g. media library) for Renewables MarCom documents/actions
- Ensure the application of Group’s graphic standards and image guidelines for Renewables MarCom documents/actions
Responsible for a Designed Content Plan
- Content: understanding the basics of SEO searching for relevant ideas to write content breaking it into pieces to distribute it through different channels / formats ensuring brand voice and design consistency
- Graphic design designing templates global / local coordinating graphics, printed materials, ensuring online and offline presence always up-to-date
Expected Results
- Ensure consistency of marketing communications actions and budgets, in line with the strategic plan of Renewables Marketing offers
- Raise Renewables competencies in MarCom function, specifically in developing Value Proposition
- Raise Nexans and Renewables markets umbrella brands awareness and image
- Ensure consistency and respect of Nexans’ brand image, worldwide
- Coordinate with the network of Marketing Communications contacts in Business Units / Regions
- Work closely with PWR-Grid Offer Director - Renewables, PWR-Grid & Accessories Marketing Communications & Branding Manager, MarCom Accessories Managers, Brand Director and Corporate Communication team
- Ownership and follow-up of the Renewables vertical’s MarCom budget within the PWR-Grid MarCom budget
