Careers Service and Industry Relationship Specialist

Job summary

Reporting to the Careers Service & Industry Relationship Manager, the Careers Service & Industry Relationship Specialist will be responsible for offering a high-quality service to students and alumni, connecting them with professionals in the fashion industry. The primary goal of this position is to work closely with the service manager to establish and strengthen relationships with students and alumni, helping them in their search for internships and job placements. The role also involves exploring new partnership opportunities with companies in the fashion sector to offer more professional opportunities and projects to our students. Additionally, they will ensure that the reputation of Istituto Marangoni is continuously maintained according to the highest standards.

Key purpose of the role

  1. Provide assistance for the recruitment process of the students aligned to company requirements, in order to offer them mandatory curricular internships.
  2. Revise the curriculum vitae and portfolio of students to better combine their expectations with companies' needs.
  3. Promote the Alumni network and strengthen Alumni involvement in school activities.
  4. Develop dashboards and monitor student placements. Organize the annual survey on the employment status of graduates.
  5. Contribute to the organization of different career/recruiting events to promote the visibility of the students and related internship and placement opportunities.
  6. Assure front-end services with students to guarantee high-level placement services and provide detailed information on their career path development during individual meetings.
  7. Support the Careers Service & Industry Relationship Manager in seeking new potential partnerships with companies in the fashion sector.
  8. Participate in writing the bi-monthly Newsletter for Alumni, including profiles and updates on the fashion market.
  9. Regularly update the service database.
  10. Participate in school events (Open Day, Master Evening, talks, etc.).

Profile requirements

Education: Degree in Bachelor or Master in management.

Work Experience: A first successful professional experience.

Soft skills: Meticulous with a strong sense of organization, strong writing skills, service and customer-oriented, dynamic, flexible, multitasking, problem-solving, time management, friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

IT skills: Good experience in standard computer programs (Ms Office), social media platforms for recruiting or employer/personal branding.

Languages: Perfect command of English; good skills in another language would be a plus.
