Project Manager Newbuilding

YOUR ROLE :

Working in our Newbuilding entity, you are responsible for managing the construction projects of several vessels.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

You shall:

1. Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
2. Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
3. Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
4. Issue comments on drawings for approval in accordance with shipbuilding contract
5. Seek assistance or experts’ opinions for specific drawings
6. Follow up:
   • drawing approval and work progress for your project
   • extra and credit, specification deviations.
7. Provide Pre-delivery purchaser with necessary information to draw the list of initial stores and spare parts
8. Manage vessel’s delivery
9. Ensure specifications approval
10. Train New Building Superintendents.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

1. You are an engineering graduate with a specialization in naval architecture
2. You have at least 1 year experience in Naval Architecture and/or Newbuilding projects, with technical knowledge of vessel design
3. Fluency in English and professional proficiency in French
4. Good project management and analytical skills, flexible, results-oriented
5. Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
6. Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
7. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
