Position: Senior Project Manager – C&I Solar

As we continue to grow in the Italian market, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our EPC team in Milan, focusing on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar PV projects across the Lombardy region. This role requires proven experience managing large industrial rooftop PV systems (>400/500 kW) on commercial or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead C&I solar projects from development handover through to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in scope

• Conduct site surveys to assess structural and electrical feasibility, rooftop conditions, and connection points

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review client documentation and optimize system design and bill of materials

• Support in the preparation and continuous monitoring of detailed project budgets

• Develop and maintain project timelines and programme of works (PoW)

• Supervise and coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Ensure adequate resource allocation and site presence

• Drive project execution with a strong focus on QHSE compliance and best practices

• Draft and manage supplier and subcontractor contracts

• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports for both internal and client stakeholders

• Identify project risks and proactively resolve site issues in collaboration with field teams

• Manage relationships with clients, local authorities, and third-party stakeholders

• Oversee project handover to the Operations & Maintenance team

• Actively participate in internal process improvements and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering

• Fluent in Italian (native level) and professional English proficiency

• Minimum 4 years of experience in PV construction management, with solid exposure to C&I installations

• Proven track record delivering large industrial rooftop systems (>400/500 kW)

• Strong understanding of PV design, grid connections, permitting, and execution

• Confident with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and budgeting

Desirable:

• Familiarity with BESS solutions is a plus

• Availability to travel within Lombardy to visit various project sites

• Spanish language skills are a plus, though not mandatory
