The Bobigny site, headquarters and Research and Development center of the Visibility Systems Pole (VIS), develops high-performance and innovative lighting systems that support the driver and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.

Responsibilities:

1. The Lighting Technical Product Engineer M / F is responsible for the R&D deliverables to ensure the success of the project for Bi-LED.
2. Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of his / her scope.
3. Application of standards according to the group's policy:

• Responsible for the coordination of the design in accordance with the economic objectives.
• Application of trade standardization rules and exceptionally requests for de-standardization on the basis of sound justifications.
• Delivery of new standards as defined in the approved project scope.
• Request all necessary design reviews.

• Supervision of patent files and communication to the client on technical innovations or innovative uses.
• Manage the interface with the client for the project's R&D topics, breaking down and cascading client requests and needs internally.
• Reporting and cascading to his / her project manager or R&D manager if necessary.

• Contribute to the identification of resource, equipment, and investment requirements.
• Establishing a detailed breakdown of activities to meet milestones agreed with the project manager.
• Monitoring activities and expenditure within the scope of the project to meet the budget allocated to it.

• Daily management of R&D contributors, dedicated or not.

• Set up a regular review with the business department manager to check the alignment between needs and availability.
• Supporting project teams during the tender stages and during development when collaboration is required.

What about you:

You have a 5-year degree in Mechanics or Electronics and at least 3 years of professional experience in product design, ideally in the automotive or aeronautical sector.

Your level of English is fluent.

You are dynamic, proactive, and pragmatic; you know how to optimize your actions through relevant priority management and you know how to be diplomatic.
