Description de poste :

With strong experience in a consultancy or contractor organisation you will have knowledge and demonstrate hands-on experience of standard forms of contract claims management dispute avoidance and/or dispute resolution within the natural resources, energy, and/or infrastructure environment sectors.

The Contract Manager will represent the Clients commercial interests while overseeing procurement activities by third party partner organizations.

Responsibilities (nonexhaustive list) :

• Contract management: supplier follow-up, contract closeout, and ensure contract compliance.
• Ensure that business goals are accomplished by contract implementation.
• Provide regular reporting on the status of contracts for management.
• Stakeholder management: the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with your different client interfaces.
• Prepare or review requests for proposals for distribution to vendors.
• Coordinate with Project Controls and the finance department to ensure correct billing and accounts payable. Verify receipt of goods and services and help verify quality performance by vendors.
• Identify potential improvements to contracting and procurement strategies, policies, bidding, and vendor selection to achieve the best value for the Client.
• Be an active member of the procurement organization and contract team.

Qualifications :

• 10 years relevant experience in a similar role in the Natural Resources sector.
• Possibility to live and work in the Netherlands.
• Commercial project experience highly preferred.
• Formal Project Management methods.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Ability to present to senior management to gain approvals.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
