Your Role

We are seeking a smart and user-focused junior Product Designer to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our products, ensuring they are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with our business goals. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other product designers, you will transform complex problems into elegant and user-friendly solutions.

You’ll be joining a dynamic product team of 13 people (Product Managers, Product designers QA testers and developers) working in agile sprints. We release a new product version at the end of every sprint, ensuring continuous innovation and improvement.

Your Responsibilities

• Use case understanding: Work with the Product managers, conduct user research when needed, analyze customer needs, and gather insights to inform design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively and contribute to the product iteration.
• UI Design: Develop and refine UI components, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and QA testers teams to align design with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• User Testing: Organize and conduct usability tests to validate designs and iterate based on user feedback.
• Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system and guidelines for scalability and consistency.
• Design Chapter: Contribute to the design chapter inside Linkurious under the leadership of the Lead Designer, aligning best practices with other designers, and continuously improving our design practice.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree from a high education institution (Design school, BAC+5 with Design speciality…)
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in product design, with some UX / UI experience in a B2B and complex systems context
• A portfolio showcasing UX / UI design projects.

Your Profile

• You are self-starter, self-motivated, you are eager to learn and you have a passion for solving problems.
• You proactively identify roadblocks and look for solutions.
• You have great communication skills, you feel comfortable interacting with product managers, as well as engineers and end-users.
• You are a team player, you able to demonstrate empathy but also critical thinking.
• You want a job with real-world impact and the opportunity to learn a lot in a growing company.
• You are authorized to work in the EU.
• You have good oral and written communication skills in English.

A plus if you have experience in:

• Designing software UX for cognitively-demanding tasks.
• Technical products and / or data visualization.
• Working with and delivering successful results within Agile teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the company’s benefit programs, which currently include the following:

• 37.5hrs a week of working time
