We are excited to announce the opportunity for a passionate and experienced Junior Product Designer to join our engineering team, contributing to the cutting-edge development of digital products and platforms. As a member of our dynamic organization, you will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of creativity, shaping next-generation design and user experience.
As a designer, we would expect you to be influencing all facets of the design process, from problem definition and design development to implementation and reiteration in close coordination with engineering, product, and business teams. Your contributions will be vital in refining and enhancing in-house suite of digital products and platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Marketing and Communications Analysts and end users in Investment and Investor Relations team to deliver impactful, groundbreaking features for our user base.
- Develop comprehensive user flows, design artifacts, and prototypes, steering product development with innovative ideas.
- Advocate for a user-focused design approach, effectively representing the voice of our end-users across diverse teams.
- Articulate a clear, strategic vision in an inspiring and accessible manner that encourages understanding and engagement.
- Communicate and work in tandem with engineers to assess the feasibility of designs, exploring thoughtful alternatives as needed.
- Partner with other internal/external stakeholders to identify opportunities for seamless, optimized end-to-end user experiences across various operating systems and devices.
- Engage in user research initiatives from contextual inquiries to usability studies, presenting findings and integrating insights into the design process.
As a Junior Product Designer at ARCHIMED, you'll be at the forefront of delivering user-centric experiences for our end users.
Qualifications:
- Academic Qualification: Recently completed or enrolled in final year(s) of bachelor's/ master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in User Experience Design, Human Factors, or related fields, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Design Principles: Ability to apply user-centered design principles and usability engineering to research, development, and product design.
- Design Skills: Strong design crafting skills demonstrating maturity in design practices, with experience in UX design and interaction design.
- Work Experience: A demonstrated history of working on design capabilities and successfully launching complex yet intuitive products. Experience working iteratively with engineering and business teams to bring the design vision to life. Experience in software design processes, user research, and usability would be valued.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and design mockup tools like Figma. Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Design and Analytical Tools: Familiar with Miro, Figjam, InVision, Principle, Zeplin, Framer, Sketch, Canva, Dall-e, Freepik, iStock, and PlayPlay.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and storytelling skills. Fluent in English.
