Procurement Manager (Indirect)

VCLS is looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager with a life sciences background to lead supplier management globally. You’ll play a key role in optimizing cost, quality, and service across our procurement operations, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a global supplier management strategy
• Define procurement policies, negotiate contracts , and manage key supplier relationships
• Oversee risk management, compliance, and quality assessment for external vendors and subcontractors
• Drive cost optimization, sourcing strategy, and financial objectives for procurement
• Manage procurement for external resources (consultants, CROs, experts) and internal vendors (payroll, IT, finance, marketing, training, and office supplies)
• Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by integrating sustainability into procurement decisions

Requirements

• Experience in Indirect Procurement (preferably in life sciences or healthcare)
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relations skills
• Ability to drive process efficiency and financial optimization
• Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and industry regulations
