Your mission :
As the BDR Manager at Tellent France, you will build & lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to surpass lead generation goals and maintain high standards in prospecting and lead qualification. We're seeking someone hands-on who understands the challenges of prospecting and can develop effective strategies to help the team achieve their maximum potential.
Team and Department :
You will initially lead a team of 2 BDRs, reporting to the France Head of Marketing. Your role includes building the team to 5-6 BDRs, and crafting the overall BDR strategy.
The BDR organization is a vital link between Marketing and Sales, requiring you to plan, train, coach, mentor, and supervise team members while maintaining a deep knowledge of Tellent’s products.
12-Month Journey :
- First 3 months: Immerse yourself in Tellent’s culture, understand our products, and get to know your team. Begin refining processes, setting immediate performance targets, and hiring additional BDRs. Actively engage in prospecting to set the pace and model best practices.
- After 6 months: Lead your team to achieve and exceed lead generation goals. Continue active prospecting while implementing continuous improvement initiatives and developing your team's skills.
- After 12 months: Establish a high-performing BDR team with a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Continue to prospect and significantly contribute to Tellent’s growth.
What you'll do :
- Build and manage the BDR team, focusing on hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive outbound prospecting efforts and support the team in exceeding KPI metrics.
- Develop and implement the overall BDR strategy.
- Prospect and engage potential clients alongside the team.
- Use Hubspot and key Marketing Automation technologies to track and manage opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams on campaigns to ensure lead quality and quantity.
- Report on team and individual results: pipeline, conversion rates, and monthly performance.
- Coach BDRs on prospecting techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with Revenue leaders for alignment and optimize team impact.
What you’ll bring to the team :
- 5+ years of BDR / SDR experience.
- Strong team management skills ensuring productivity and performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor a BDR / SDR team.
- Ability to develop and execute effective annual business plans.
