We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator for grade 1, 2 and 3 Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant school community. As a Homeroom Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  1. Creating a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging classroom where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
  2. Academic Guidance: Support students in their academic journey, monitor their progress, and collaborate with subject teachers to ensure a holistic education experience.
  3. Building Relationships: Serve as a key mentor and role model for students, helping them to develop not only academically but also socially and emotionally.
  4. Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to update them on their child’s progress, behavior, and school activities.
  5. Classroom Management: Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain order and ensure a productive learning environment.
  6. Promote Personal Growth: Encourage students to explore their strengths, work on areas of improvement, and develop skills for lifelong learning.
  7. Organizing Class Activities: Plan and execute classroom activities, celebrations, and events that build a sense of community and teamwork.
  8. Support School-wide Initiatives: Collaborate with other staff members and contribute to the implementation of school-wide programs and initiatives.

What we are looking for:

  1. A knowledge of Balinese culture is a plus.
  2. Strong math background and the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with young learners.
  4. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  5. Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. Proven track record of successful leadership experience in a school or educational institution, preferably in a similar role.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  8. Strong understanding of educational best practices, curriculum development, and student assessment.
  9. Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture and supporting the holistic development of students.
  10. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
  11. Relevant qualifications in education, such as a teaching certificate or advanced degree in educational leadership.
  12. Proficient swimmer is a plus.
