Job Description:

TV TOURS VAL DE LOIRE is a local television news channel, a subsidiary of the multimedia group La Nouvelle République du Centre-Ouest, based in Tours, broadcasting on TNT (channel number 37) and on boxes (channel 30) in Indre-et-Loire and Loir-et-Cher.

Position

Under the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief, within a newsroom of 8 journalists, this JT PRESENTER - TRIQUALIFIED JRI will be responsible for:

• Preparing and coordinating the daily news broadcast: choosing and prioritizing topics, selecting guests, conducting interviews…
• Regularly producing reports ready for broadcast (shooting, editing on Adobe Premiere, and commentary) when not presenting the day's news;
• Proposing topics to enrich the news broadcast;
• Contributing to the reflection and creativity necessary to energize the programs;
• Engaging in any editorial mission at the request of management.

Profile sought

• On-screen presence, good presentation
• Higher education in journalism with a TV specialty and prior professional experience preferred
• Passion for information, good general knowledge, and awareness of political news
• Desired personal qualities: writing and speaking skills, ability to synthesize, relational ease, curiosity, autonomy, initiative, rigor, and good team spirit
• Driving license required

CONTRACT:

• Full-time permanent contract based in Tours.
